A limitations of the OT-2 is that it can only manipulate liquids. To expand the capabilities of the OT-2 beyond just liquid handling, I designed attachments for tools to be picked up by the OT-2 pipette. This was a part of a publcation in HardwareX.
Expanding upon this work, we created a system to autonomously target a contact angle by modifying the formulation. In this project, I worked with the team to design the physical system and procedure, including the stage and camera holder (Section 2.2), allowing our system to increase experimental output and reduce variation compared to manual methods. This work is currently submitted to Digital Discovery.
